We visited here for our first and last time. At first everything was great and we were happy we chose to drive for two hours to come here but that all changed once we entered into the donut shop and the lady behind the counter was extremely rude and swearing at me. She didn't stop with swearing but also slammed her hand on the counter twice and told us to hurry up. We went to the candy shop to ask to speak with a member of management and spoke with the owners daughter who instructed us to return to the donut shop and ask for the owner, Kelly. After speaking with Kelly to in an attempt to resolve this poor experience with her employee it was clear that Kelly doesn't value her customers since she too was rude and defended her employee and not once did she offer to make things right, refund our money or even apologize for her employees behavior. I'm not sure if Kelly is aware that it is the customers who keep her in business and if this is how she is going to treat her customers she is going to lose customers which in turn will affect her business but also her reputation. Read moreWe love this place, but unfortunately were pretty frustrated with our visit this year. Went on a Sunday at 9am since the site says they open at 9am…. NOTHING was actually running at that time. The kids bounce thing isn’t open on the weekends at all apparently, and none of the rides or Carmel apple bar start until 10 or 11. Website and Facebook page should state this information!
Update to review after condescending response from owner: we had plenty of patience when we were there. We bought several treats and had great interactions with all of your staff. All I’m saying is you should update your pages if all things will not be available. We specifically came early to avoid the crowd in the pandemic because we were under the impression everything was available. The bounce thing literally has a sign on it that says only open Monday-Friday. Also consider having someone else respond to reviews that can do so professionally and with proper grammar...
Read moreWhat a nice and friendly place! We had a good experience. The prices are quite high, but for the most part so is the quality. We bought a half gallon of apple cider for $7.28, a dozen of donuts for $13.52, and 1 plain caramel apple, and 1 with pecans for $13.52. They charge a fee if you don't use cash, hence the cents listed in each of the above items. The apple cider is delish, and the caramel on the apple was perfect. I wasn't a big fan of the apple itself. It reminded me of a Granny Smith, minus some of the flavor. The donuts were good, but I've had better. Overall, the weather was nice, but we didn't go on the hay ride because the cashier informed us it was $5 a person after we'd already paid for our caramel apples and cashed out. She said we would have to pay there so we just grabbed a dozen donuts and headed home. We also sampled some great tasting pie for free. The pies were great but $18 per pie was quite dense! Anywho, we...
