This little trail is not for the faint of heart. The terrain is rocky and slippery, along with lots of tree roots. AllTrails shows it as less than a half a mile out and back however, there are numerous off shoot trails to take, nothing is marked, and most of the time you have no idea where you are or where you’re going. On the flipside, it’s absolutely beautiful and most of the views are breathtaking. Especially when you realize you’re in the heart of Tippecanoe County in Indiana. I would definitely give yourself a couple of hours to just explore, or you might miss something gorgeous. Take water, a walking stick, good shoes for traction,...

If you have a chance to get away from the city to see this magnificent and unique example of a natural Indiana landscape, definitely take it. We all owe a great debt of gratitude to the folks working, volunteering, and fundraising at NICHES so we can continue to have little pockets of REAL nature like this spot. Lastly, LOL at the 1-star and 3-star reviews on here. What did you subtract stars for, not having a waterfall? Silly. But I digress. So this was a beautiful place, we came in mid October it was stunning. However many of the reviews said family friendly. Well maybe an older family. I have a three year old with no fear of death and he ran at the cliffs that were ten feet from the trail with 100 hundred foot drop no railing. No doubt beautiful but leave toddlers at home.
