Hidden Porch — Attraction in Owasso

The owner Candice has no consideration for the neighbors of her business. She doesn’t want to hear any complaints and could seriously care less about how we feel when we have to listen to base and music until late at night. Never mind , the loud music causes people with special needs high anxiety and disturbs all of our peace. Think about that before booking here. How would you feel if you’ve worked long hard hours and couldn’t even relax or have peace at your own home? I have 2 in MY home this causes huge distress and anxiety over. Our home is supposed to be a peaceful place to rest…on most nights Spring through Fall, ours isn’t. Candace has blocked us in social media the first time we complained to her, we tried civil those times. She has no actual regard for anyone other than her bank account. I know we aren’t the only ones around here to feel this way. There should have been some noise barriers installed. Wonder why there isn’t? Hummmm Replying to your response: nothing ever done in retaliation of your inaction was EVER illegal. Your selfish demeanor in response to our complaints in the beginning told us everything we needed to truly know about what kind of person we are dealing with. You have no sympathy for anyone around your venue for the stress you cause them. We should be able to live at our homes in peace, YOU should have sound barriers so the ones actually living around it should not have to be subjected to anyone else’s “celebration”. Maybe because we are inflicted with a nuisance we should address it as just that…also, noise ordinance in Rogers county does not negate the fact your actions cause distress. FYI, no sheriff or BIA Marshall has ever advised anything. FYI… we’re still here and your venue is a nuisance. You can have people lie for you all day but we know who you really are. Truth always...

Let me just say, that obviously the beauty of the venue speaks for itself! BUT, in addition to the venue of our dreams, what made our experience even THAT much more enjoyable was Candace the owner! She was attentive to all of our needs from start to finish-from booking our date all the way to the very end of our beautiful wedding day; always there to help and answer questions whenever, had helpful tips and suggestions for planning, helped me and hugged me when I almost started having a mental breakdown in the bridal room from being so overwhelmed from the day, was SO helpful and understanding during our panic moment of having to reschedule our date due to COVID, etc. The venue is gorgeous and Candace works SO hard to keep it in tip top shape for her brides and that hard work shows!!!! It’s a beautiful venue! We did the elopement ceremony and the timing was perfect. A few issues though — We purchased an extra hour for cake and champagne. The venue failed to have a bartender for us and no one ever apologized or offered any compensation. Another big problem, their sound system was broken and we weren’t told until day of. We had to use a Bluetooth speaker.. a very quiet Bluetooth speaker. I wouldn’t even hear the music to know when to walk down the aisle.
