DeVries Nature Conservancy — Attraction in Owosso Charter Township

Such a lovely place. My niece had her grad party there. There is a small, but decent kitchen (that is also where some reptiles are kept). Great place to explore. There is a natural play area with a slide, lots of scrap wood for building, shovels to dig with, drums and other instruments to play on. Not your normal play ground with swings. There are also multiple trails including two that bring you down to the Shiawassee River and another that brings you along the edge of farmland. Lovely property just north of Owosso. Used their meeting space which was great! Ample restrooms, lighting, and tech for a house that was converted into the nature center building. Has 4 miles of beautiful wooded walking trails along the Shiawassee River. Visitor center display area is small and could use more sponsors and donations.
