Seymour Lake Township Park — Attraction in Oxford Charter Township

Overall, we love this park! We are fortunate to have such a nice, large recreational area. The playgrounds are well kept. The farthest one by the soccer fields is newest and for all abilities. The bathrooms by the soccer fields are nice. There is a good disc golf course, several pavilions, tennis/pickleball courts, ball fields, and the seasonal farmers market on Saturdays is awesome!

The splash pad could use some love. The water is full of iron, its stains swimsuits and the splash pad surface. If the water was filtered/softened/treated to get the iron out, it would be a major improvement and we'd happily pay a small fee to use it. It's currently free, but we don't use it due to the water and the splash pad surface is a bit slick. Also you have to leave the splash pad area and walk a bit to the bathrooms, which is far with little kids. The bathrooms for the splash pad are the bathrooms for the kids kingdom playground, which are in need of refurbishment as well. Free to the public! This park is very well kept. It was tons of activities for the whole family. A castle play structure and a water park for kids. There are Soccer fields and base ball diamonds get used for leagues or done and remote control air plane enthusiast's . This park also has a wonderful disc golf course! A true gem and a must play for disc golfers. The course offers challenging holes with the first 3 featuring water hazards. Some holes that will test your distance, and a wide variety in elevation change. The course is always freshly mowed a pleasure to play on. I can't believe it's free. This course is in my top 5 in MI. Another cool place that you can take your families to and that’s the Oxford Park and Oxford Michigan. This park has a playground for kids during the summer at certain times there’s a carnival that comes to town at this park. This is a wonderful park for taking your families, your boyfriend, your husbands and wives to And enjoying yourself the staff there a really nice the people that take care of the park are really nice.
