Nice clean lake with kayaking. They have grills to cook and picnic tables. They have a pavilion and a playground area for the kids. Seasonal and day passes are available for Oxford residents and day passes available for non-residents.

Great beach on the lake, no very busy during the week due to it being a town beach and out of town pricing is prohibitive. The lake is nice, with life guards and a large floating platform the kids love.

Perfect place to launch your ski/boat. There is a beach area with tables set up if you want to cook/bring your own food. Very peaceful

This park was recommended to us since we enjoy taking day adventures with our dogs. The website has next to no info about how to prepare for visiting the park, so I politely emailed them with some questions since we live over an hr away and I wanted to make sure it was dog friendly and that we were prepared. The person who responded was very rude (that alone was enough to turn us off from paying such a ridiculous fee to visit). If you're not a resident of the TOWN they charge you 60 dollars for a pass and the beach is NOT dog friendly which they do not mention on the site. Glad I eventually got the info I needed before wasting a trip, even if the answers to my questions were four emails later and written in bold red text because I asked for the info in writing rather than calling them. It would have been less time for them to just politely respond with answers in the first place. They might benefit from some PR courses and putting more accurate info on the website. Per my experience I can...

One of the lady lifeguards, had brown hair, I am not kidding she kept staring at me. So much so the whole time that when I stepped over this plastic barrier (made of plastic) as a quicker way to get on the beach, which I assumed there was nothing wrong with it and no signs. I gently stepped over it and since the lady was staring she said “next time, walk around” I was in the water in and out for 3 hours and she kept looking/staring at me. I didn’t say anything, but made me uncomfortable and I felt like I was being watched and when I turned around, I was being watching by her! So whoever you are, lady with brown hair. Please don’t do that. The other lifeguards...

The park is beautifully designed- we did not visit the park that day as we walked Kettletown hiking area instead. It was very peaceful however more rocks and tough terrain to climb than anticipated. Young children and novice hikers would find the areas challenging. There are no restrooms or picnic areas in the Kettletown side however dogs / pets with good hiking endurance would enjoy...
