Oxford Plains Speedway — Attraction in Oxford

Gross place. Went over the weekend. In the pit this what we experienced water/sewage lines break on pit road only to get covered with a pile of sand and coned off while making drivers and pedestrians work around it. The bleachers are falling apart not just on the pit side it’s like that on the grandstand side too.

Going to the bathroom is a joke. There was a man in the women’s bathroom clearly shouldn't have been there. We tell an employee they didn’t do anything about besides lie to our faces. We went to the beer garden. Those bathrooms are half working. Toilets aren’t even connected correctly. It was so disgusting.

This place is going down hill fast. The owners clearly don’t want to fix it up. But charge a lot of money. Will continue to support other race tracks as it’s more...

A very run down facility. A very need of a paint job on everything . The bathrooms look like it wasn't cleaned all year. Very nasty. The racing was average. Not very exciting to watch. There was a race with only two cars in it. I mean come on now. The featured race was super late model 21 car race. 50 laps. Average racing. There is a big difference of the experience drivers and the average drivers. Does not make for good driving when only two cars are in the lead the whole race. Need to get more drivers to the track. Maybe some different...

Good racing no doubt. However, after all these years of raking in the dough, the facility is disgraceful. Old rotten bleacher seats, no enfocrcement of the "no-Smoking" policy. The concession area was marginal, few choices compared to most facilities. Wiscasset speedway outshines Oxford in every way. Wisscasset is a real class act. If they could pull off a bigger race than the coastal or boss hog, they would pack the stands. Anyway, I give it 3 stars for the race field.
