Spanish Bay was really nice. The scenic road just below Carmel-by-the-Sea is totally worth it — super clean, beautiful views all along the coast. You do have to pay to get in (since it’s a private area), but I think there might be another access point through a different road, not 100% sure though. The whole area is basically a private community, with stunning houses and some of the most incredible trees I’ve seen — old, windswept cypress trees that are just breathtaking.
