Echo Canyon Lake is in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. It is a small and beautiful lake. Some parts of the lake are crystal clear. You can see parts of the San Juan mountain range like Square Top Mountain. It is stocked with bass, perch, green sunfish and channel catfish plus many more. Fishing is best in the morning hours or sunset hours. Many people love picknicing, walking, or jogging around the lake.

No powered boat, perfect for kayaking, canoeing or paddle boarding. Small and not heavily busy. I saw people pulling small fish out of the water. Gravel road entry that is passable by all vehicles. Quiet with nice views. Swim, fish, walk and relax.

Nice place very beautiful room to fish but no fish for me. If I go again I will use something else. Caution the Mercury levels in this Lake are really high don't eat fish from here. It says one or two are safe but That's a NO for me.

Great fishing for warm water game fishing I have not caught trout out of here but I have heard people catching them with power bait a variety of soft baits are a good way to bring in good sized bass as always please fish legally and do so...
