We were on our way to find the last water fall on the Mt. Charleston Trails. Let's just say we gave it our best effort but ended up seeing "jack-didlly-squat". The GPS took us in circles. The trails were not well marked, the reviews for the different trails were not matching what we were experiencing, and never once did we see anything even resembling a structure that might have a waterfall! No one knew anything, no real road sinage, and any navigation system you use all have different answers! Bring a flippin compass, an aerial map, some red ribbon to tie on the trees you pass, and extra food and water in case you get lost ( you think I'm kidding? No, no I am not!). Everyone we past coming down all had that look of slight despair. "I had no idea it would be that hard.. haha.. but I'm alive so thats a good thing." While their dogs are about to pass out from exhaustion. But the weather was nice and cool and the 8,000 elevation really gets the blood...
