I recently went to this winery on 6/30/19 for a bachelorette party weekend. We rented a limo (Presidential Limousine) to drive us to the winery from Las Vegas. The best part of the day was the limo ride and Emmanuel was fantastic I highly recommend this company. When we got to the Sanders Winery we asked if we could purchase snacks (cheese, meats, fruits) to pair with our wine tasting and they said there was none but we never were informed prior to the tour-- so we drank our wine with frito's, potato chips and little oranges we had to ration between the 8 of us. During the wine tasting, the woman was not careul with pouring into our glasses so the wine was spilled all over the table and our tasting sheets. Some of the gals weren't even finished with their glass and the woman poured wine into the glass thereby mixing the wines. We were never given the background story as to the process or ingredients of the wine unless we asked and were often met with short answers. We also felt rushed to drink our samples quick so we had to ask her to allow us some time to enjoy and take our time.

I have not written a review before but I wanted to warn people before they drive over an hour to come for what they feel will be a relaxing and engaging experience. I did however enjoy the wine (the ones that were not mixed) and the outside of the building is...

Sanders Family Winery - Pahrump, NV. 10/2021

Headed out of town for the wife’s birthday. Stopped in at Sanders Winery on a whim… Harry and Julie are amazing. Did the wine tasting with Julie and ended up going back the next day again…

They made our day, and my wife’s birthday getaway - a complete and epic adventure.

Jack and Betsie Sanders (the owners) are truly amazing hosts. They believe in a family environment and it leaves a mark.

If you want to spend quality time at a true oasis in the middle of the Mojave… Sanders Family Winery is it. (note: If you want to get married, talk to Julie… she is such a person that adjectives fail to describe how awesome she is.)

True hospitality in it’s most sincere definition - to witness and feel, you must visit… as we will again, and again… etc.

Your presence, your visit… You are a valued person, they interact and treat you with value… not your...

So disappointed with this place. I have been trying for an entire year to get my refund on the money I paid in full to have a wedding at this location but due to Covid affecting everyone last year, my fiancĆ© and I had no choice but to cancel. I’ve left numerous messages with staff and have sent emails, no reply or call back from the owner. I paid all of the money up front a year in advance but yet one year later after cancelling I am still not reimbursed? I feel utterly robbed! And the owner cannot even have the decency to return my phone calls? Staff is apologizing on his behalf? I did my very best to be so patient due to the circumstances of last year, but not even a phone call? Do not plan anything here! You’ll get robbed of your money and you will never...

A wonderful place to stop for some good wine. You can sample the various wines amongst others. Speaking with the owner, he was very personable and knowledgeable. Fascinating to talk to. Just ask about his pre-retirement jobs. IF you’re a boomer, memories will return. I’m not a wine connoisseur. I don’t go by wine names, but flavors and there were a couple of wines I really found enjoyable. The final sample was a red wine, ginger ale, and a bit of lime. This is also a ā€˜Harvest Host’ location. You can park most any place on the property. Plenty of space. We purchased a couple of bottles of wine and a couple of their glasses. Should we return, we will stop here again and purchase more. Nice restrooms, nice shop and good people. Enjoy!

How can anyone even say that they dislike a free wine tasting session. Anything free, especially this far out of the city, and when the folks here are absolute angels, should definitely be called out. The grandeur of the entrance definitely was not something that I'd expect, this far out of the city. Dropped in here on our way to Death Valley for their wine tasting, and went through a list of 9-10 sparkling, red, and white wines. The drinks just kept flowing. Taste profiles of the wines are alright, nothing compared to those you find in Napa Valley; but let's also not forget that their bottles costs about 10-15USD here, where a normal bottle of Napa may set you 3-5x back.
