I live about 45 mins away so I I took my 6 and 10 year old daughters to spend the day and we loved it! We went on a Monday and pretty much had the place to ourselves which I was shocked for it being a free park. This is such a unique park to visit from the giant rock wall, 2 zip lines, different climbing setups, and many other nifty things to explore. I had to help my 6 year old reach a couple things so wouldn't suggest bringing toddlers as there isn't anything they can do other than enjoy nature. I recommend stopping in to the building before heading to the play area. They have really interesting hands on learning tables set up that my kids and I had fun doing as well as take home material and even a scavenger hunt you can do while at the park or at home. We also enjoyed the story walk where we got to read a book while walking through the woods. Our favorite part of the whole park was the waterfall. We were able to play in the water and I took many beautiful pictures. I would suggest bringing water shoes if you are wanting to explore the creek and a change of clothes as my kids "fell" into the water a few times. ;) Overall, this is a great place to spend the day that doesn't cost you anything and will for sure keep the kids...

These parks are great for families, people wanting to be fit and active, and for anyone looking to be outside.

Clean restrooms, ample parking, and...

An excellent place to get outside and do something fun with your kids. They have a bunch of climbing apparatuses. Including two climbing walls, 8+ slack lines, and a bunch of creative obstacles for you and your kids to play on. If that isn't your thing there are several trails to hike too. On a nice 75 degree Saturday afternoon, there surprisingly weren't any mosquitoes or deer...
