Rabbit Run Theater — Attraction in Painesville

We went to see My Fair Lady in July 2018. It was fantastic! The quality of the acting and singing was phenomenal. The orchestra sounded professional. The sets were a little bland, but very ingeniously used to minimize the cost, and they got the point across. The staging and backstage work was flawless- meaning it never distracted. And almost all the actors were well miced, so you didn't miss any dialog.

The only drawbacks are in the facility. It is in an old barn that they have converted, so they open the side walls for ventilation. I imagine it can get very hot or cold in there sometimes. The seats are very uncomfortable, and they actually hand you a foam pad to sit on, which is not as wide as the seat. And there are only three stalls in the ladies room, so the line takes a while during intermission.

So: dress for the weather, bring your own comfy cushion, and be patient during intermission, and you will thoroughly...

This is a charming and fun theatre nestled in the trees on a shady lot. If you enjoy drama and a good show, this is a great place to spend an evening. Bring some fried chicken, and potato salad and dine outside on one of their picnic benches under a shade tree before the show. This is more of an experience than just a show. The theatre is in an old barn, but with modern amenities. Rabbit Run is a charming local place that fits the Madison vibe...

The actors that perform are very professional. They do an awesome job. The barn itself is in need of upgrades like heating and air conditioning. They've been fundraising over the years and have been slowly making improvements. With this hot summer we've been having it's been uncomfortable sitting in the heat. However, this does not have an impact on the performers, they continue to do a top notch...
