We went to see My Fair Lady in July 2018. It was fantastic! The quality of the acting and singing was phenomenal. The orchestra sounded professional. The sets were a little bland, but very ingeniously used to minimize the cost, and they got the point across. The staging and backstage work was flawless- meaning it never distracted. And almost all the actors were well miced, so you didn't miss any dialog.
The only drawbacks are in the facility. It is in an old barn that they have converted, so they open the side walls for ventilation. I imagine it can get very hot or cold in there sometimes. The seats are very uncomfortable, and they actually hand you a foam pad to sit on, which is not as wide as the seat. And there are only three stalls in the ladies room, so the line takes a while during intermission.
So: dress for the weather, bring your own comfy cushion, and be patient during intermission, and you will thoroughly...

Read moreThis such a delightful, throw-back "barn theater"....seriously it is an old converted barn. The production we saw "Daddy Longlegs" was wonderful. The cast of two carried a two-act play most ably by themselves. Highly recommend taking in a production here. Don't forget, there are two very inviting outdoor leisure area, perfect for some Midlefield cheese and a bottle of one of Lake County's superb...
