Putnam County Dog Park — Attraction in Palatka

This isnt the dog park. It's Francis Sports Complex. They aren't finished redoing the rest rooms. Porta Pottys are the nastiest thing to have to use, anywhere. Consession stand was closed. Besides missing out on the revenue it generates, hungry children unhappy doesnt make a pleasant enviroment. It's a place that usually blocks life's crap, by cheering for our players, and socializing with our neighbors. How can those 2 vital parts of the sports complex not be ready for ball season? It's a nice dog park with large dogs and small small dogs separated by a 6 ft fence on all sides. It would be nice if some kind volunteer would come out and sand down some of the agility courses. My major malfunction is actually the humans who bring their animals out here or just come to party. We did pick up two bags of trash between the parking lot and the small dogs area. I don't know why people throw their garbage on the ground when there is a very nice dumpster they could throw their picnic items, Etc Within 600 ft of the...

This is a nice place to bring your dog off leash. They have two sections. One for small dogs, under 40 pounds and the other section for large dogs over 40 pounds. There wasn’t anyone else there when we were there and it was on a Saturday. I am so surprised that more people don’t take advantage of this park.
