We have been twice and enjoyed our time. We prefer to go in August when its less busy, but I noticed that this year the week days were not open very long in August. So we rushed over on August 1st which was a Friday before only weekend times available.
First, there are lockers, so if its just you and the kids, you need to store everything in here. In order to fit all of your towels, water, and bags or change of clothes, you really need the largest size locker. I thought we could fit into a medium locker, but it did not work and there is no way to pay for an upgrade, so we ended up paying for 2 lockers for an entire day even though we only used the large one... which was a bummer. I won't make that mistake again.
Second, they don't allow you to bring outside food, but you can get hand stamps and go to the car to eat.
Third is about rides -
There is a little ones playground in a shallow pool of water with fountains and slides. Its tons of fun for little ones, but stay there and watch them the whole time. Make sure they have swim diapers on and they fit securely.
There are three slides you can ride on donut-shaped flotation tubes. There are two-person ones and singles. I went on the two-person one down the blue slide. I have never been on a water slide before. I could not hear the instructions from the life guard which was a problem - it was very quickly spoken and not clearly. So, I had to depend on my 10 year old son to tell me the safety rules which I feel is a problem. Now the blue slide has a drop, a spin around a bowl and another drop to the exit - it felt like being flushed down a toilet LOL! Because I was heavier than my 10 year old son, I was required to be in the back of the double-tube, but this caused us to twist around and we exited the ride backwards - surprise! The red tube is faster with lots of twists and turns so I did not go on it because I get queasy easily. My son loved it though. We do not go on the yellow slide because its open air instead of an included tube which caused my son anxiety that he would fall out... no one fell out while we were there all day, but if it causes him anxiety, then its not worth it.
There are four slides you can go down face first on a mat. My son nick named these the penguin slide (because you are on your belly like penguins). You start in enclosed tubes, then come down a slide with a few smooth bumps to slow you down. My only issue here is that one lifeguard allowed people to come down before the little ones have exited the ride. She kept calling for the kids to hurry up and leave but the other riders were already coming down the last slide. Now no injuries or issues occurred, but when you have kids that little, you need to wait longer to let the next group down.
There is also a lazy river, which is peaceful and fun, but with not enough flotation donuts even the little ones need to be able to float on their own because there is not enough for everyone. Life vests are provided so get them on the kiddos. Life vests are first come, first serve.
Next year, there will be 3 new tube slide rides! My son cannot wait to try them...

There are only 4 rides and a lazy river plus the smaller kid’s section. My 10 and 11 year old sons had lots of fun at the kids section and we all had fun on the other rides. It didn’t take super long to get on rides and we were able to get a seat in the seating area free. They had lots of seating plus cabanas you can rent if you buy online. You can bring in a cooler and your own water which is fantastic.
This was our first time going and it’s about 45 minutes away from our home.
The food wasn’t too bad but they don’t serve pizza. (Bummer...dude) There was a hair in my fruit cup. The cashier was very apologetic and quickly got me another one.
When I told the manager (I assume he was the manager) about the ants; he said that they would spray after everyone left. Ants had gotten all over my backpack where I had placed it on the lawn chair in the seating area. It was quite horrific as I hate bugs. A lady near by gave me her sunblock to spray and it worked t9 get the ants off my backpack ASAP. By the time the manager checked my bag; there were no more ants on it but he (manager) checked my bag anyway because he wanted to help get the ants away. Another lady said the ants are bad and there’s always a lot there. (Yikes!)
I ended up getting a speeding ticket trying to get there which makes this the most expensive waterpark trip of my summer!!!... but we’re definitely going back.
20 bucks per person is a good price and night passes are 15. I wish they had pizza, but the fries were good, the nachos were aight, the smoothies were good, and so were the onion rings. Overall we had a blast. We spent $48.00 for a party of four ppl on food.
They do need to implement a faster way to serve food. The line took forever...

Cons: Avoid this park during long holiday weekends! The lifeguards had a field day having to baby-sit inner city trash who were here goofing around, splashing, pushing, screaming, and acting like a bunch of animals! I didn’t realize S. Central LA would be here that day. Or, maybe they have discount tickets and all the trash came to the yard, maybe ? They need to heighten security BIG TIME here especially on long weekends. Security guard in the front was useless. 2nd complaint- Lines for food never ended ! People don’t know what they want to eat and hold up the line when they get up to the front as we waited for almost 30 minutes! For long holidays maybe you should take orders when people wait in line or tell people to step out of the line if they don’t know what they want in order to be sensitive to others! After-all, if we are hungry and can’t bring our own food to the park, then there needs to be more structure for people who want to eat. We don’t have to wait for more than 15 min at a time!! It’s not fair !
The pros: The park is very clean and everything is around the water! You can move easily from one spot to another. Rattler’s Revenge is our favorite ! Experience the thrill of the water coaster! Weeeee! My daughter had a blast ! The employees are hard working and the lifeguards do a phenomenal job. Hats off to Michael who was personable, funny, and treated his guests with the utmost respect. We really love this park and hope to be back next summer when they have the new slides but long weekends need to be cleaned up to avoid ruining other people’s...
