Hillsdale Lake Beach — Attraction in Paola

We needed a break mid road trip and my husband spotted a sign for this beach. The temps were over 100 degrees so the lake was quite warm. I saw no staff anywhere and a large group of early 20s were drinking and swearing in the water. I saw one lady grab a can ripped in half out of the water which worried me people were going to get cut from them.
