Mayfield Pond Park — Attraction in Paradise Township

I have said it before, I will say it again; as a kid growing up in the sixties, I would have been seen hanging at the Mayfield Pond every day! My daughter and son in law were married there as the main part of the park is a grassy area with tables and benches where you can witness wildlife up close. A beautiful creek runs through the middle of the park cold enough to put a beverage in it to chill! Other amenities include a covered picnic area with several long tables that anyone can use with grills and tables surrounding it, outhouses and a swing set with climber for the Rugrats. A local party store is just a walk away for food, snacks and beverages for a very enjoyable picnic anytime. It's also a great place to bring your dog as the grassy area is perfect for a frisbee, corn hole or just tossing a football. Beautiful park! There is a pavilion with a fire pit/grill area right in the pavilion. Restrooms are behind the pavilion, and look to be kept up and cleaned frequently! This is a PERFECT location for photos, hiking, birthday parties, and just about anything! My kids loved to play near the creek and the pond, we also hiked to the top where the landing is.
