PVUMC stretches wide with inclusivity and reaches far with multiple activism programs that motivate, inspire, and facilitate positive change. This church truly is “God’s Love in Action.” One can become involved in social justice, environmental activism, mission work, Open Table, and RAFT to name a few. The worship service inspires with exceptional music leadership; spiritually uplifts with insightful and informed sermons; and the multi-generational participation unifies everyone. True in both the traditional and contemporary services. The children’s and youth programs continue to be one of the best in Metro-Phoenix providing a foundation of spiritual formation that is relevant, individualized, and forms a useful foundation as youth navigate a complex world. Additionally, one can explore classes, groups, and social events. The Holy Spirit is alive and well at PVUMC! You feel it from the moment you get out of the car and see the beautiful Biblical Garden created through the vision of the Holy Spirit just for you. You feel it as you make your way to the Sanctuary for the traditional service or to the Fellowship Center for the modern worship service and are warmly greeted by those you pass. You feel the Spirit through our most amazing choir, or through the bells or Paradise Singers or other musicians who might be there that day. You feel the Spirit so fully through the children’s laughter, their voices lifted in song and through the amazing insight they reveal during Children’s Moment.
