Bille Park — Attraction in Paradise

Always enjoyed spending time at Billy Park, in Paradise Northern California. There have been some devastating events, that have come sweeping through Butte County, over the years...the 'CAMPFIRE ', for all of the local areas and the Residents that inhabited these lands, one of the worst. But 'THANKS' to Residents, Public Works, Volunteers, Businesses, such as Landscapers, Builders, Teachers, FireFighters, Foresters and FirstResponders, etc....of the Areas Response Teams, their Time, their Donations and their Love, Billy Park once again remains one of the most Peaceful, Tranquil and enjoyable for the Families, youngest to oldest, 4Legged with Frisbees, laughter and some Hideand GoSeek. The VIEW, always SPECTACULAR, with the visions of the Rock Dwellings along the Ridge down to the bottom of its Crevice ❣ The Beautiful Monarch Butterfly and the Colorful Humingbirds, will be Returning as will others. And the neighborhood surroundings are coming alive once again. A'HO = (PEACE, WELL~DONE) A GREAT PLACE to have Weddings, Parties and Reunions. Or on a quieter note, just a nice walk about the grounds with someone you...

The walking group I belong to walks at Billie Park. There is a wonderful paved path that surrounds the park. In addition to the beautiful naturally grown trees there is landscaped flowers a plants that work in harmony with the preexisting nature. The 2018 Camp fire did take some of the outlining trees however, it opened up this amazing view of the canyons. There is grass for our children and fury friends to play. There are two sets of playground equipment. There are several drinking fountains. Park benches for relaxing and taking in the views. There's a large gazebo set up for events like family reunions, birthday parties weddings etc. There are bathrooms in the front of the park as well as the back. There are two separate parking areas. There's are a unpaved walking trail. Two laps around the park is 1.6 miles. I have seen incredible sunsets at Bille Park. You won't be disappointed once you arrive...

Bille park is a local treasure. Be it for a meet up with a group, play date or a tranquil walk alone. Two playgrounds offer variety and there is ample grass for kids to play and run. Perfect for a pop up game or badminton or soccer. The RC track is a hit for RC fans. The lower trail is under rehabilitation, but they're working hard at getting it back up to a safe level of travel. We were able to enjoy some of the pathway to overlook. Pup was pleased to find some fresh dirt to roll in. Restrooms located on both sides of park and wheelchair access on pathway through park. Be on lookout for rattlesnakes as they do inhabit this area. I've not seen one,but have friends who have. Please be sure to stop by the pet memorial of the lost pets from the Campfire.
