Gun Blast Vegas - Outdoor Range — Attraction in Paradise

We had a great time and learned a lot with Andy at Gun Blast! Andy picked us up from the Strip, we drove about 40 minutes to the shooting range, and we were there for about 4 hours. Andy is very knowledgeable and shared his experience with both novices who have never fired a gun before and also to the experience guests. He gave us personalized and one-to-one instruction in a small group. This is not just safety instruction but also instructions on how to shoot successfully and without injury. We had a member of our small group who was a competitive shooter, and Andy was able to scale up the instruction and also change the target to match the ability of the more competitive shooter. Andy let us through a variety of not just weapons but also scenarios. My favorite was the walking and shooting quickly. That was fun! My favorite gun was the AR-15 with the scope. We did this activity in later july, where the Las Vegas heat was about 45C in the city, but the shooting range is in the mountains so it was actually a lot cooler and quite comfortable. Andy provided us with cold bottled water, there was a washroom facility with flushing toilets and running water. And he made it safe, fun, interesting and we all had such a great time! I should also mention that there is another business at this location, and many other "extreme" activities to do here. You don't have to return with Andy, you can stay and do the other activities and the other business will drive you back. I learned so much today and to be honest, I'm interested in getting a license and perhaps owning a firearm in the future. I really had a lot of fun...

Being able to load and shoot all 4 guns (AK 47, AR 15, shotgun, and a handgun) was the best! The instructor Vincent was amazing! He gave us a great education on guns without being overbearing. We were free to shoot and he made it comfortable and gave us confidence to do so. I have only been shooting 1 tome before, so I really appreciated him for being thoughtful with the gun teaching. He was funny and we had a great time. We will definitely come again!

I also loved the indoor sitting area with couches and chairs. There was also a cute patio sitting area outside. There were 2 bathrooms indoors, which were clean and nice. Wall Outlets were also inside to charge your phone if need be.

My only critique is that the complimentary van ride should have phone chargers in the car. The ride from the meeting point to the range is about 1 hour. Would be great for us to charge our phones on the way back home after taking a bunch of photos and videos.

Such a fun experience, especially for 1st timers! Our host was very welcoming, professional, & fun. He made the experience that much more comfortable for a first timer, like myself. He allowed up to interact with the equipment prior to shooting. At the beginning of our tour, we met up @ a designated pick up location & drove about 45 minutes to the shooting site. Our host was very punctual & drove safely. The Environment was very safe & allowed us to take videos & pictures as much as we liked. On site there was a fully renovated lounge for guests that has a couch, TV, & well kept bathroom. You’re more than welcome to bring your backpack & snacks. There isn’t a specific place to store them but, you’re allowed to keep them with you during the full tour.
