I actually hiked the Bear Hollow Trail, which also starts at the same point of the Benefield Loop. The Arkansas State Park website told me the Bear Hollow Trail has some of the best scenery on the mountian. I found this to be not quite true, although I suppose it depends on your definition of scenery. If you start the trail from the picnic area, about .35 miles or so in you will reach a nice overlook. The remainder of the trail is simply that: a trail. The whole trail is pretty narrow, enough for single-file hiking, but you will definitely need to step off the path if you pass people coming in the opposite direction. Overall not a bad trail, but I wish the state park website was more accurate in what this specific trail...
