Westfalia Farms — Attraction in Paris

My mother just turned 90 on June 8th, 2020. I had wanted to plan a party for her, and honor her in a big way. The coronavirus put a stop to any advance planning, as Tennessee could only have 10 people "gather". When the governor announced that 50 people could gather, I only had about a week and a half to find a place and get busy! I had been to the open house at Westfailia Farms and remembered how beautiful it was. I contacted them and meekly asked if the first weekend after their reopening was already filled. Lo and behold, it wasn't and they were very happy to accommodate me and started helping me choose everything I would need to make it special for mother. I cannot tell you just how awesome everyone was! They were having to follow CDC rules and social distancing, taking temperatures and asking covid-19 questions. All of this took some extra planning and hiring of staff to work and handle everything that would keep us all safe. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the people are beautiful too.... inside and out! I took my decorations out there and they helped me figure out just how to make it look awesome. I have to give a shout out to "Laura", the owners 9 year old daughter. SHE alone, put together all the flower centerpieces and they were perfect! I think she definitely has a future in this business! The event coordinator, Rick, was ontop of EVERYTHING! He knew exactly when to do everything and saw that it went smoothly! Everyone there puts you and your guests at ease and just let you enjoy the celebration! I cannot tell you how much I recommend that you or anyone you know, call Westfailia when you need for a place to celebrate an event happening in your life. They have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears I am sure, into making this event venue, a place to be proud of. Henry County is lucky to have such a great place as Westfailia to use and draw people from all around! Its not just a wedding venue, as it will accommodate family reunions; birthday parties; receptions.... anything you are celebrating. I recently DJ’d an event at Westfalia Farms. I have to say this was such a wonderful experience! From the moment I drove up to the venue to the very end when I drove away, I felt so welcomed! It says so much for a venue, when the owners take great care of not only their clients and the guests but their vendors too! Sebastian and Ina greeted me as I drove up and they went out of their way to assist me in the best way possible to unload my equipment as well as the perfect spot for my set up. At the end of the event Sebastian was present once again until I was finished packing up and sent me on my way. They also have coordinator Kim who was absolute delightful and helpful! It really is a complete package!

Now onto the venue itself. All I can say is WOW! Westfalia Farms is a BEAUTIFUL venue! The detail put into this gorgeous barn is timeless yet modern with a touch of European flavor to it that really makes this venue stand out from the rest. Really! You must see it in person to get the full effect. The barn has two levels with an open concept which gives clients so many possibilities for their event. Giving way for different ideas for both areas but open and spacious to keep it feeling like it is all inclusive. The Barn is nice for a reception, it's in the middle of nowhere and the wedding is in the grass and field not ideal for with wooden benches for seating, the wedding coordinator was new or didn't know her job very well. Owner will be there to over see everything the entire time your there every step of the way including at the reception... which was strange, DJ and photographers we're lacking also cut songs off and are about 20+ yrs old I think any field at sunset would bring the same results.
