I did go when the leaves were covering the ground completely. This made the trails a little difficult to follow. Due to the difficulty, it took me longer than expected to make the round, and the sun started setting. This also added to the difficulty, and at one point I really wasn't sure where I was or where I needed to go. I had to use a compass to find my direction again. Only then did I find another arrow sign, eventually leading me back to a path. Again, the leaves were freshly fallen, and the trails were buried.
