Shingobee Recreation Area — Attraction in Park Rapids

This was the best cross country skiing area I've been to! There's a variety of trail difficulties, and some great hills. The trails weren't groomed but they were well used so it was easy enough to get around. The trees were pretty and the ski trails were well marked with maps at every intersection.
