We stopped here in hopes of enjoying a little Michigan wildlife after eating too much in Holland. 😅

We weren't disappointed. This is a very nice walking trail - easy and flat, in a beautiful location filled with birds, muskrats, snakes, turtles and fish. Part of the trail is also a boardwalk through a wetland type of area.

Be aware that there are no restrooms here but it is also only a mile and a half Trail (.75 out and .75 back.) We didn't have any problems with bugs, but I would recommend bug spray and sunscreen since there isn't a...

They have a hiking trail that is a nice short walk, and also have nice areas to stop and spend time at. On this occasion in June of 2019 I went with my brother in law and kayaked along the trail. The river and lakes around the area have been high and flooded, and this was a nice occasion. There is an abundant amount of wildlife with hawks. Herons, song birds, fish, frogs, and many other animals. The river and streams are home to small fish such as bluegill and bass, and I've seen individuals and families alike enjoy their time relaxing...

This is a scenic walk with no stairs. The trail alternates between overgrown pea gravel/sandy trails and boardwalk. Be careful on the boardwalks for boards that have popped up--our kids have tripped and fallen! Occasional benches and lookout points. Some people fish here. There is wildlife including birds, turtles, river otters and once there was a beaver but some authority set a trap for it and took it away unfortunately. It would be nice if the creek was made a bit more...
