Best blueberry wine!

Overview: Wine: 5/5 Sexy bartender 10/10 Atmosphere: 5/5 Would I return: yes!

We just happened to be driving by and saw a sign that said wine. Like Edina and Patsy from Ab Fab, we made a quick u-turn to see what was happening. What a hidden gem! The place is nestled in the woods, on a blueberry orchard. We decided to have a quick flight. The tasting room has a stylish design with wine casks as tables. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgable about the wines and their wine making process. He explained the flavor profile of each of the wines. What a beautiful flight presentation! It came out on a wine tree. I tried the Sparkling Sumac (my favorite), the Beach Bum Blueberry, Peach, and their signiture wine the Blue Silk. All of the wines were delicious! The Blue Silk is by far the best blueberry wine I have ever had. It is silky, smooth and sweet with no bitter aftertaste. The Beach Bum Blueberry is so refreshing like a sparkling blueberry lemonade. Definately a must have summer wine. The peach was a solid, crisp peach wine, not too sweet and not at all bitter. The Sparkling Sumac was my favorite, due to its unique flavor with a hint of spice. I have never had another wine like it. I wish it came in a bottle. What a cool winery, I can't wait to come back in the spring, I bet it is even...

Where do you start with such amazing staff, service, atmosphere and such a talented young business owner? I contacted Trevor to see if he would be willing to host my Mopar car club for an evening of wine-tasting. Tanglewood Winery was undoubtedly the perfect location to end an evening car cruise with fellow car enthusiasts! Trevor was very personable, displayed an obvious knowledge of what he's doing, and was so helpful in making sure our group had an amazing evening together. The selection of his wines is truly astonishing considering how new Tanglewood Winery is. Each wine he gave us a sample of seemed to out-do the one before it. There was not a single wine that we did not like, and all were very unique, not just from each other, but even compared to much of the wine industry. These wines are so unique and full of flavor. The prices of most of the wines far exceed most wines I've tasted in the same price range. This winery will definitely go places. I can't recommend strongly enough! Our car club will most likely be making this an annual stop...

Tanglewood Winery is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The Tanglewood team and Trevor, went above and beyond to ensure our group had everything we needed. Their kindness, attentiveness, and willingness to accommodate our requests truly set the tone for a fantastic experience.

The atmosphere at Tanglewood is something special—peaceful, relaxing, and deeply community-oriented. Whether you’re looking to unwind with a glass of wine or gather with friends for an event or time with family, it’s the perfect setting. The space feels intimate yet open, with a charm that makes you want to stay and soak it all in.

And of course, the wine—absolutely delicious! Each sip was smooth, well-balanced, and full of flavor. You can tell the team at Tanglewood puts a lot of passion into their craft. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will...

I had tried a few of their products that I found for sale in the supermarket before, but I’m happy to have finally made my way out to Tanglewood’s main store. Their tasting room is nice, and there’s plenty of seating indoors and outside. The staff was friendly and helpful, and it seems like they also work with the brewing. Their wines are quite pleasant, and they have some less common types for sale. They do have grape wines like traminette and frontenac, both of which are very good, but their wines made from other fruits are really cool to me. Their sumac sparkling wine, which was only in their tasting room, was light and tart, and I wish it was possible to buy in bottles. Their blueberry port wine is probably my favorite, and it’s very smooth. I’ll definitely have to remember to take friends and family here.
