Fresh and new trails, interpretive center, and amenities. Really creative exhibits to teach about water management and the natural history of the site. The tone was interesting, sharing concern and strategies and hope. Signage outside helps to place things in context, and the trails were full of interesting things to see - fields, boggy areas, trails, woods, and the creek itself. It feels bigger than it looks on the map. Easy parking. Appears to be pretty amenable to wheels of various kinds including wheelchairs, strollers, and walkers, at least on the main trail. Worth it for a long walk or to explore. What a creative re-use of land.

Our multigenerational group gathered Saturday, August 19th for a tour and a picnic. Our guide, Matt, was excellent. For 1 1/2 hours he talked about the flora and fauna, the significance of the watershed, and led us through visual and hands-on research. The visitor center is open for self-guided tours. All of this is free but you need to register for a nature guide tour. We picnicked at the shelter near the visitor center but there are other picnic tables. Gifts, free information and park maps are also available in the visitor center.

We were driving through Cleveland on our way to the airport and looking for a place to let our kids (and dog) stretch their legs. This gem of a park delighted and surprised us. Lots of great options for people of all fitness levels to enjoy nature and get fresh air. The trails are well marked and the signs and maps are frequent and helpful. Loved that they had regular pet stations with bags and trash bins for dog waste. It was a great experience and we will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Need more trees in center walking path. Off in the woods trails very nice, with some older trails hooking up with the new ones. A lot of restoration is going on so that a few of the older trails are now impassable Mountain bike trails are for biking and hiking. Please make sure you hike in the proper direction. The Dentzler trailhead is a nice 0.7 mile trail. You will be crossing three bridges. The hill starting Dentzler trail however is extremely dangerous. Plenty of rocks that can be slippery.

Went on an ecosystem interaction tour with Naturalist, Peter. Took my great nephew, Cayden. Learned so much. Will definitely go back and walk the trails. We were at Monarch Bluffs
Purple tree is edible. The flowers and buds can be used as a garnish and can be cooked. The tips of this tree can be used to season meat. It's a peppery spice.
The bird is a red winged blackbird. as we got close to it, the bird hid its red feathers on wing to yellow. It's a very territorial species.

A little hidden gem of a park, there's a little bit of everything here. The trail leading up to the overlook is well maintained, had a reasonable grade where it's a good workout without being overly strenuous, and you're rewarded with a beautiful view of downtown.
The nature center is adorable and educational. The whole building is a study in water conservation. They have plenty of cool classes and activities for all ages.
There is also a nice mountain bike trail
