Mariposa Park — Attraction in Pasco

Mariposa park is a nice little park in a quiet neighborhood. Good play equipment, and a couple of park benches for parents to sit and enjoy watching their children play. There is safety padding installed under all play equipment, including the swing set. The swing set has a "mommy/daddy and me" swing installed on one end, which is a typical swing seat with a baby swing attached to the front, do a parent can swing with their baby, which I thought was a fantastic addition! There is a basketball court as well. There is also a small walking path. Unfortunately, there are not any shade trees here. All in all, my family enjoyed this park. Great park- clean and well kept. Kiddie toy down for a while due to slide issue, but other than that nice selection of toys, primarily 7-8 years and above until smaller section opens again.

Dog friendly, but bring your own bags, no doggie bags on site. Trash can, water fountain, gazebos for shade and large grassy area for frisbee, sprints, or other activities.

Extras- zipline similar toy, along with assisted pull-up bar to make exercise fun for the kiddos or adults. You just about need a stool to have kids do this themselves tho, bring a tall friend if not above 5’6” and able...

Nice park, very clean and seems quite well maintained. There are several slides and some very unique climbing choices. The only changes I would make would be: Add a few more benches around the circle of the play structure, there is only 1 in direct view.
