I took a walk in this little park while on a trip. It has plenty of picnic tables, parking and river side views. It was late August and the weather was very nice after a significant heat wave. Still the grass and trees appeared healthy in spite of that heat. Part of an area I walked was obviously used to set up a tepee, but it was not present when I visited. There are several places to dock along the shore which is great if you are on a small boat fishing on the Columbia River. Our tour group had a large bus which took us around the area. The map seems to to show modest road access to this park, but it looked pretty good to me. Great place...

I was truly Interested in getting to see this park as I used to live an hour South of here and had never visited it before. I was a little disappointed in trying to see the confluence of the two rivers because there is a somewhat obstructed view. I would strongly suggest that some engineers come out and build a 6 story watchtower there at the point. It would sure make a person feel like they have a better view that way. You cannot even get a good picture from down on the ground. Just my thoughts...it is a pleasure to walk the grounds of where Lewis & Clark traveled. There is much information to take in about their...

A gem of a state park that is very under utilized which makes it perfect for those who don't like big crowds. Very well maintained and definitely a great place to get off those cell phones and relax in nature.

I've seen a lot of animals including turkeys, all kinds of beautiful birds, osprey, coyotes, eagles, hawks to name a few.

A very historical park you will be amazed by the canoes carved from large heavy trees and you can hike, bike, fish, bring kayaks or your boat as there's a boat launch.

This is where the Snake River meets the Columbia so expect some great fishing.

I love...

The park is located at the confluence of the Columbia and Snake rivers. It is such lovely park with lots of picnic tables under large shady trees. It has a boat dock and paths with informative signs about the area and its history. An interpretive center is located in the middle of the park with displays about Lewis & Clark and the area's native peoples. There is no cost to visit the center. However, a 10-dollar fee or a 30-dollar annual Discovery Pass is required to visit the park.

Fun place to come out to fish, but never got anything out of it. Nice place to come and relax. There is no playgrounds but there is picnic tables everywhere and tons of shades. I have seen a lot of improvements of clean ups compare to last year. There are tons of snakes but they are little guys so please don't run them over as this is their home. Please pick up your trash!! I shouldn't have pay to come here but since people are too lazy to pick up after themselves is why WE gotta pay.
