Absolutely love this park except for the horrible treatment by one of Pasco's finest city workers!! My husband and I came to enjoy the park on our travels w/ our motorhome. We had a mechanical issue arise that needed to be addressed immediately. So, we figured what a better place to enjoy a beautiful view while my husband fixed the issue. Especially being that there was more than enough room and we weren't making a mess of the park and it would only take an hour or two to fix the problem (being that he is a master mechanic). When out of nowhere we were surrounded by the Pasco PD. The police were very kind and understanding and they saw that we were taking care of the issue and allowed us the time to finish the job my husband had already started. They informed us that it was the city worker that called the police on us and that they would inform him that we had been granted the time to finish fixing the problem. What happen to the time when people had the decency to stop and inquire before taking it upon themselves to call the police immediately as if you are some laten criminal that is up to no good!! BOO on the Schlagel Park Worker who called in on us!! That is not how I would ever want an employee of mine treating the guests of my park!! I can promise you that because of this experience I will not be coming back nor reccomening anyone I know to go there unless they want to take a chance of possibly be harrased by a park employee for I don't...

They come creeping across and for me it's a nice spot...

No swimming is allowed. A nice bit of grass and lovely arching trees make for a pleasant picnicking area. (Restroom is only a...
