As of today we were members here for 7 years starting when we got married on the property. I kept holding on because of the nostalgia and was ignoring some of the blatant negatives every time we came in in the last year.

Brought friends to come taste and also to pick up our wine, the individual helping us did a complete attitude turn around when he realized we were already members because "he couldn't sell us anything now" and the rest of the tasting was just awkward and rushed through by him.

A few times after we have come for special events and they always end up being wine events with religious, political tangents by the stage hosts (as well as some very off color religious/racially based humour). Every event seems to be slowly turning more into a religious/political event rather than a wine event, especially considering the politically affiliated flags on the hill when you're exiting the property.

Again I kept holding on to our membership because of the nostalgia, our history with the property, we enjoyed the wine and seeing the property constantly growing, and also because of our own belief that people are welcome to their own beliefs and opinions. But it no longer feels like a welcoming environment. With all this I was still on the fence about cancelling but then the attendant didn't even bat an eye or even ask why we were cancelling after all these years, I realized it had to be done. The love of the members is gone. I've worked at wineries, all members are valuable but when a long term member cancels you should at least note a why, even if it doesn't change how you do business.

Also to clarify, 4th of July was our final visit and the final reason for our cancelling of our membership. Patriotism is to be expected on this holiday but not a full blown sermon laced with political and religious tangents. We'd experienced it on previous visits but 4th of July was all of our previous experiences in the past combined together and...

I’ve been there yesterday and let me say that it was not what I expected. Usually, when you go wine tasting ( I do this all the time) you get a sommelier for each group (It was just me and my friend), our designated sommelier was serving two groups 10% of the time with us, and 90% with the group of four next to us. Sad. First of all, from the moment we got there they told us to check in at 1 PM we were there earlier we waited like 25 minutes after 1 to get check-in, and, in the meantime, we waited outside to make time. We realize that this is more like a senior citizen's retirement hangout and family oriented (children on the loose). A gentleman was singing outdoors he was pretty good actually. However, I do not recommend it for people in their 30s 40s, or newly wed couples. Back to our Sommelier, every time he poured a glass of wine, he will leave us by ourselves for a long time. We had many questions about the wine, plus he supposed to change the glass every time we got a sample. We had to rinse it with water and keep using the same glass. After we finished with each sample he would briefly talk and then he will just disappear. We were shocked that he couldn’t even put a glass of water next to us, we had to go back in the car and find water which make us realize that we were at the wrong place. For the wine quality I will give it two stars for the service if I could get below one star I would. Overall experience find a nice spot where they have pros, provide great quality wine and excellent service. Like Tablas you won’t...

My wife and I have been a member of Sculpterra Winery for about one year. We joined because the winery is absolutely beautiful, the staff are always polite and the wine is good. We vacationed in Paso Robles during the week of April 12 and decided to attend our first music event at the winery, on Saturday, April 17. There was a self proclaimed musician/songwriter by the name of Steve Key performing. Pretty much I ignored the music because he is a horrible singer. He spends much of his time rambling on the microphone, rather than singing, which was probably a good thing. One of Steve Key's songs caught my attention. He sang about people from Fresno and Bakersfield, and how we make his life "Hell". I listened carefully to the lyrics of this song, which he is proud to say he wrote, and I was extremely offended. I spent the remainder of the event, angry!! I spoke to the manager, who was very polite and expressed my dissatisfaction. The manager recommended that I come back the next day, when they have a "Better Band". My wife and I had already planned to attend the Sunday event. After considering how unpleasant the Saturday event was, we decided to change our plans and not attend. I'm happy that the economy is doing so well in Paso Robles, that tourists from Fresno and Bakersfield are not welcome. I for one, plan on making Mr. Key's life better and vacation...

A fun stop for wine lovers in Paso Robles, especially those looking for more than just wine as an attraction. Sculpterra boasts beautiful grounds littered with many sculptures and art. They have plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the good weather & grounds. My sister and I visited during covid times. The winery had limited capacity and tastings were reservation only (we got lucky with a last-minute cancellation!); walk-ins were still allowed but for bottle/merch purchase only. The staff all wore masks the entire time, and guests did except while drinking wine. We enjoyed our tasting and learning more about the wines. None of them stood out so much to warrant a purchase but we did walk away with one bottle. We also got a package of their pistachios that they grow on premises - garlic & onion favored, sooo good! The best part is the beautiful grounds here - wonderful laid-back atmosphere to sit back and enjoy a glass. We walked around to explore the art - loved it. Would certainly return with visitors!

Visited Sculpterra on our way to the Sierras. While I did not partake in the wine tasting, my wife enjoyed it quite a bit. The woman serving us and assisting us with the tasting and selection was very knowledgeable and really helpful. We bought a bottle to enjoy in our hotel later. To be brutally honest, it wasn't the greatest pinot noir I've had and it wasn't cheap. Although there were other samples on the tasting menu that were far better, but twice the price. So there's that. Outside, the sculpture garden is fantastic. We spent a couple of hours wandering the grounds. Some of the art is truly excellent. So even if wine isnt your thing, this place is worth a visit if you are in the area just to get some fresh air and stretch your legs. Make sure to walk through the vineyard up to the hammocks in 'Pauls Forest' for a very relaxing time-out in a wonderfully tranquil location. We'll be back and try a different bottle next time.

We cannot rave about this winery enough! We walked in at 4pm on 3/22/23, an hour before closing. We were greeted kindly and even got to do a private wine tasting with Bruce. Bruce was a FANTASTIC wine steward. He was an excellent conversationalist and knew so much about the wine, sculptures, the history of the winery, the staff and employees, and more. Without a doubt, the price of the tasting was worth it 5 times over, with a well-curated wine list, pleasant and accommodating staff, and a stunning location along with the beautiful sculpture gardens to walk through. Bruce made our experience so lovely and we will have great memories to bring home. We highly recommend stopping at this winery for anyone on a central California coast trip! 5++ stars.
