Blue Heron Barn — Attraction in Pavilion Township

My husband and I chose Blue Heron Barn as our wedding venue and we could not be happier! Tiffany and Bob were indescribably helpful at every step of the way. From our first tour, we fell in love with the beauty of the barn and all the outdoor space. It was easy to envision our guests spending the day there with us! On our wedding day, one of our favorite memories was watching our guests fall in love with the venue, just like we did. Tiffany was so kind, warm, and welcoming in explaining the various amenities and perks of the venue. One of the most beneficial aspect of the venue to us was the no-cost access to the "Something Borrowed" room. We spent nothing on decorations because we found exactly what we needed in the barn's decorations stockpile! The room is beautifully organized and full of anything you'd need to accentuate the natural beauty of the venue. Our only concern was holding the ceremony outdoors due to the variability of Michigan weather, but our hesitations were met with a clear, logical, and easy rain plan! In addition to being so quick to respond to every single message and question, Tiffany and Bob were incredible with helping us with the wedding planning process, providing vendor recommendations and general advice. Almost all of the vendors we used were at their recommendation and each of them, along with Bob and Tiffany, proved to be authentically kind and caring individuals who were reliable in fulfilling their services excellently. At every step of the way, the Blue Heron Barn team blew us away from that first visit through the end of our wedding day. At the rehearsal, they helped guide us and plan for the processional with wisdom and excitement. During the day of the wedding, we could not have been more thankful for their encouragement and support. We didn't have to spend a minute thinking about anything related to the venue because Bob and Tiffany had every single aspect under control. Our families and bridal party loved working with and interacting with them! If you are looking for a beautiful venue that is staffed with the most supportive, encouraging, and put-together team, there is no other place that we would recommend to you than Blue Heron Barn. I can't say enough about this venue and its owners. Physically, the space is beautiful and can be suited to a more informal affair or something more formal. For us, we preferred a little of both an it delivered. It had rustic charm and elegance that allowed for a beautiful outdoor ceremony and for guests to mingle under covered porches and by the firepit. We made it more informal and fun with smores bar, bag games supplied by the venue, and we booked an adorable photobooth camper that supported the outdoorsy, backyard fun, and laid back vibe. Tiffany (Owner) was incredibly attentive, paid attention to detail, answered questions quickly, and was incredibly organized which allowed for a seamless experience. She had two staff the day of that were so incredibly thoughtful and helpful as well. As more of a DIY bride on a budget, no wedding planner and all the fears associated with that, lol, Tiffany made me feel confident that with her experience and the barn's charm the event would go wonderfully and it certainly did. Speaking of the DIY bride on a budget, this venue has a lot of decor available for use. We took advantage of that perk doing our own centerpieces with a mash up of their supplies and our herbs. They also had adorable rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in on site. In conclusion, I would 110% book this venue if you are looking for rustic charm /elegance and thoughtful owners who legitimately care about you and your event.

We could not have dreamt of a more PERFECT wedding venue and better overall experience than we had with Tiffany and Bob and The Blue Heron Barn.

The venue- The Blue Heron Barn is not just an ordinary wedding venue, it is a one-of-a-kind space to host a wedding in a modern and sophisticated interior. The Blue Heron Barn offers a wide variety of floor plans, layouts, and décor to help plan your perfect day, but still encourages you to make it your own space to be exactly what you want. Our guests loved the meticulously manicured grounds and the open air dining space giving us the best of both worlds (and indoor and outdoor venue). The double patios on either side of the barn are perfect for guests that want to take a break from dancing while still being a part of the party without having to leave the area.

The people- Make no mistake, this is not just a venue, but a team of the most caring and kind folks we have ever met. Tiffany and Bob made sure everything went smooth from the set-up, ceremony, dinner, and reception. They hired an amazing support staff that couldn’t be more helpful and even had things tore down and ready for us to pick up the morning after the wedding. To say that Tiffany and Bob went above and beyond is an understatement- they truly left no detail forgotten about.
