Scotts Mill is a nice place to go to get away from it all. After a long country drive, Scotts is in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, the Mill's water wheel fell into disrepair and hasn't been operational since 2015. And if you want to pay the $5 to get in, Scotts Mill is a great place for unique photo opportunities, as well as a nice place to get in touch with nature by accessing the two trails there. The Prairie Trail is 0.9 miles where as the Woods Trail is 0.44 miles. It's an old mill, and the water wheel is still next to the mill. The pleasant surroundings on the property are a big plus for the park. It can be a wedding venue, a place for educational visits, there's a small playground for children, a hiking trail, and other buildings on the property. I loved the log cabin and the barns, too.
