Crooked Creek Park — Attraction in Peak

We came to the park for an event. Besides encountering a great park with plenty of parking and wonderful facilities, I was pleasantly surprised to find out some more wonderful things that would bring me back to the park! I saw beautifully maintained sports fields and a nice rec center. The restrooms were nice and everything was nicely maintained and very clean. The disc golf course was nice. It was refreshing to see that the walking trails were paved, not everyone has an easy time walking on uneven surfaces, and that makes enjoying walking in the outdoors more accessible for so many more people! The shade is nice on a hot southern summer day!! There seems to always be an event to enjoy every week or so, or especially around the holidays, so there is never a shortage of fun to be had, and, best part, it ALL can include your furry friend! So I usually go to this park to have picnics and hang out with friends and family don't get me wrong this place is very beautiful the maintenance is no longer here therefore meaning no bathrooms to use be careful walking the trails even on the asphalt you can trip and fall cuz it's very uneven also to be careful stepping off the asphalt into the grass cuz there's a dip down between the asphalt and the ground. if you are a jogger or a runner I wouldn't recommend it unless you're experienced. Our family rented a room for a party. It was great. There was a little park directly outside from the room. The kids could run around and come back into the AC to cool down. All in all the this place was lots of fun. The staff was great and most of the poeple comong in and out were nice. I am not a member but just looking around, the basketball court was perfect. There was a great gym and cardio section. Also there was a walking track looking down at the basketball court. There were tennis courts outside that looked to be in great shape.
