Cascades — Attraction in Pearisburg

The waterfall is amazing, wonderful and incredible. If you are around the area, go there. If you do the trail from the beginning to the end with no stops, it will take less than 1 hour. My husband and I took 84 minutes to do the trail that is about 2 miles until the waterfall, but we went looking around, enjoying the view and taking pictures. The total miles of the trail is 2 miles up and 2 miles down. You don’t need to do the trail to reach the waterfall. There is an easy alternative route there. Great hike in from the far side and hit the overlook as well. Some great water running and falls were spectacular. Hike from the lot is pretty easy and I would say family friendly for some with outdoor experiences. There are a couple levels to view the falls but can get a bit slippery.
