Double Oak Lake — Attraction in Pelham

Oak Mountain Double Oak Lake is Amazing! Great beach, swimming, fishing, paddle boards, canoes, pedal boats and maybe more. There are great picnicking/swimming spots around the lake that vary in landscape from the beach area. Great landscapes and hiking/biking trails close by too, if you have time. Bikers are very cautious of hikers and hikers have priority over bikers. Staff is super helpful and friendly. If you frequent the park on somewhat regular basis, I recommend looking into the family annual pass. We've found it has paid for itself...

Spend a day at the beach without leaving Birmingham! This is a great place to spend a day in the summer. A cool lake with a sandy beach, picnic facilities, beach volleyball, a place to change into and out of bathing suit. Soft drink machines on premises. Free picnic tables near beach.
