Logan Martin Lake Park — Attraction in Pell City

Could be a beautiful place. Beautiful play equipment, nice swimming area. Unfortunately no one cares about littering. Trash is everywhere. Clearly from parties/events thrown here. Capri-sun pouches all over. Parents don't care, so the kids don't care. There are active guinea wasp nests ALL under the play equipment. We're currently watching the "land scape" people cut grass and mulch all the trash into the ground. Only stopping to pick up large rocks children have thrown around from the barrier by the parking lot (again parents not caring what their children do) DO BETTER EVERYONE! It's sad....

Great park, no swings, fishing, swimming, and an easy trail, less than 2 miles long. You can cross the damn for fishing in more turbulent waters (I’ve seen some big old bass, just yesterday a 5lb stripe and I wasn’t on that side but about 15 mins). If you stay on the side with the park, there are several piers to fish off of (Game warden does frequent this spot and checks every- quick pass the pole to the kid!), a long shore line for throwing rocks, walking, a nice size swim area, picnic tables, shade, etc. one of my family’s go to spots as there is something for everyone and...

Thanks Alabama Power. For fixing a place for everyone to enjoy. We have a great time when we go there is about eight of us We have been helping pick up so y'all will keep it open. Please everyone help keep our park clean. I have a one year old grandson i want him to enjoy the park when we take him out there. There was a lot of little children having the time of there lifes out there. So lets all pitch in and help keep it...
