This is a nice place to visit. They have a few old buildings and a general store. They owner of the general store is rude and your lucky if you get in. We tried to go in but the door was locked and people were on the porch eating and staring. The guy inside just stared so we left and then saw two different people get let in. Beside the store this place has a lot to offer. There are many paths to drive on and hike on. You can take a bike or dogs if you want. I saw people riding quads in an area that looked fun. They have lots of bogs of water and you see lots of birds. You can go and take pictures or just admire the view. It’s usually really quiet here and you just hear nature and the random car/truck pass by. This place is free to go to and pretty easy to get to. I definitely...

I take my pitbull out there all the time to get her exercise in and usually everyone is very friendly and happy when they're out there. It's just a great vibe. Trails are amazing and there's always something fun going on. Today unfortunately we encountered a snobby woman with a little white dog off leash (my good girl was on leash and carefully inspecting a dragonfly on a leaf when the woman made a big deal saying she's "not too crazy about THOSE DOGS" and put her little trouble maker on a leash. Then she made a comment about how I should keep my dog at home. Unbelievable. First time I had that experience. Not the folks fault of the grounds everyone else is always amazing! Don't forget to check out the garden trail....

Excellent place to take a walk, within the multiple lakes for cranberry growing all placed within a grid of sandy roads snaking in and out of pine forests. Wonderful for wildlife observation and just a peaceful environ enveloping you within a natural and peaceful wrapping.

As a musician I also appreciate the many events that Whitesbog puts on, the Blueberry Festival as well as monthly ad hoc music circle jamming "Blueberry Jam" where I have met many wonderful friends and colleagues. Whitesbog is run by ethical and dedicated staff - worthy of your time...

Very charming little gem in the pine barrens well worth the visit. There was a string band playing folk tunes which I adored. There's a well maintained trail leading to Elizabeth's Garden with lots of moss and greenery and blueberries! The blueberry field wasn't growing much when I visited unfortunately. It's still a working farm it seems so the cranberry fields are off limits. You could tell the local folks really take care of the place.

A group (SJODC) hike to spot Tundra Swans! So beautiful. So cold! Lovely. Able to find 2 couples (4 mated swans) floating in cold, cold water. Too far out to capture on photos (my 6s plus phone freezing up due to the cold). Worth the hike to see them. They fly south to winter either along the Atlantic or over to California. Whitesbog is a great place to explore!
