Smith Family Farms Pumpkin Patch is very family oriented. It was fairly busy with families all around and kids of all ages. There was a moderate size line for the hay ride and food line. There is quite a few small play areas for kids of all ages. There is also a barn full of animals to see. There is no petting zoo or feeding area. No feeding animals. Which kinda takes the fun out of the barn area. They have a free hayride by tractor that takes you along the border of the farm. There is also a couple of corn mazes one for small kids and the other for adults. The pumpkin patch is a big field of pumpkins. A wide variety of sizes shapes and colors. You can also purchase pumpkins and gourds at the front entrance. There is also a little area to eat and they sell cheeseburgers and hotdogs, chips, canned soda, hot chocolate, cider, walking tacoās, and small candy. Prices for food is pretty average. There is also a small condiment area with ketchup and mustard and sour cream for the walking tacos, with a small indoor eating area with tables and chairs. There is also staged areas for photos with hay bales and corn stalks. The pony rides were canceled. They didnāt have a time when they would be started again. Parking is adequate, you park in a gravel area and walk over to the farm area. They also have live music at certain times of day. One thing that would have been nice is to have a small gift shop with apple and pumpkin butter and apples and pastries. Overall a good experience. Nothing too fancy or extravagant. Just a simple farm with a small animal barn and pumpkin patch. I would recommend this for cheap family entertainment on a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMediocre experience for us. Much smaller than many others that we have been to. My 2 year old was thrilled to find a āyittle tiny pumpkinā that he could carry by himself. A lady who worked there came to us after he had found it in the field that had small pumpkins on one side and large ones on the other and stated that we needed to put the small pumpkin back because they are only for kids who come on field trips. My 2 year old was also ecstatic to find an ear of corn on the ground in the corn maze. He carried it around the entire time. We took it to the cash register with our pumpkins and explained that it was his very favorite thing and asked if we could buy it. The same lady looked at us like we were crazy and proceeded to lecture us about how you are never supposed to take corn from the corn maze because they use it for feed over the winter. I reiterated that we were sorry but the corn had been on the ground and made the babyās day. She replied āThey still wouldāve gotten it.ā..and rolled her eyes at me. She did eventually let us pay for it and take it home but was definitely...

Unlike all the there patches/orchards around. There was a playground, hayride, petting zoo, live music . There was no charge for any of it once you paid your $6 admission fee. They had a good variety of food nothing over $5 great variety of pumpkin sizes shapes etc. Not exactly sure of the price of them as we were with our church group STRIPPED LOVE OF ANDERSON INDIANA and they donated us each a pumpkin. We will definitely taking our girls back for...
