Came down from Washington to check it out. Well kept, quiet, right on Camas Creek. Despite the water right there, the mosquitoes were non-existent on a windless day.
Friendly host, well kept facilities. Potable water onsite and real flush toilets for those that have an aversion to pit toilets. Which I don't understand. You'll sleep on the ground, but you have to have a toilet that flushes? Mmkay... fine.
Anyway, about 25 or so nice spots, some of them big enough to take a camp trailer or shorter RV. Hwy 395 is right there so expect some noise when trucks go by, but it's not real busy. Hey... it beats train tracks!
We'll be back with the tents on the motorcycles to stay a long weekend here and explore some. Great area. Ukiah is small, but has a tavern/grill and fuel, so what more can you want for an out of the way...
