Great basic campground with water and better than expected bathrooms (lights, flush toilets). Super clean. Only one other person there (Sept 16). Got spot 12. Super quiet when there aren't cars driving by. Loved it. $10/night cash, check, or card (which is a first).

Came down from Washington to check it out. Well kept, quiet, right on Camas Creek. Despite the water right there, the mosquitoes were non-existent on a windless day.

Friendly host, well kept facilities. Potable water onsite and real flush toilets for those that have an aversion to pit toilets. Which I don't understand. You'll sleep on the ground, but you have to have a toilet that flushes? Mmkay... fine.

Anyway, about 25 or so nice spots, some of them big enough to take a camp trailer or shorter RV. Hwy 395 is right there so expect some noise when trucks go by, but it's not real busy. Hey... it beats train tracks!

We'll be back with the tents on the motorcycles to stay a long weekend here and explore some. Great area. Ukiah is small, but has a tavern/grill and fuel, so what more can you want for an out of the way...

Nice, uncrowded campground off Highway 395 in scenic Ukiah-Dale Corridor. Campground hosts were extremely friendly and rest room while old were clean. 4 Stars instead of 5 because road noise (especially trucks) is noticeable during day but does quiet down at night. Water available throughout campground but no hookups. This is older campground so site are small. Tents, vans, campers, Class C RVs are fine. Trailers over 20 ft. and Class A RVs will be...

The beauty of this scenic area cannot be captured on camera. The ponderosa pines are stunning and if you catch a sunrise just after snow fall the colors are unforgettable. I wish camping was open longer throughout the year. We have stayed here many times and driven past it when closed...
