It can get a little packed in the summer. It's not uncommon for it to resemble a beach party: steel drums, hot dogs grilling, kids running around the playset and shallow water. There is a raft just outside marked swimming area to jump off of and it is one of the sandiest beaches in TC (as opposed to rocky). There is a seldom used second parking lot with basketball hoop that has a light at night. The beach is across the street from a neighborhood, so it is regularly patrolled by police day and night. Read moreI haven't visited Haserot in 2 years and was concerned that the beach would be under water. Thankfully it's not! Had a great day. I was bummed that the off shore floating dock was not there anymore. Water is super warm up to about 25 feet out, then it's just warm on the surface. Some gunk in the water for the first 25 feet as well, then it's super clear after that. Sorry I didn't take an updated picture. Beach is smaller for sure, but there is still plenty of room....
