Penn Forest Township Recreational Park — Attraction in Penn Forest Township

Very nice park with lots of different things to do. They have a small playground for kids, it's not my kids favorite because there isn't much to the playset, but it is maintained well. They have multiple soccer fields, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, two baseball fields, a pump track (something for bikes and rollerblades), a long walking or biking path all the way around the property, a pavilion with picnic tables and nice bathroom facilities. The soccer fields are rough. Their are dirt marks all over and the fields do not drain well. The basketball courts and tennis courts are very nice. The baseball field, like the soccer fields needs some TLC. The playground is very nice but should be expanded or one added to the other end...

A lot of open space, which admittedly is not all that rare in the area, well portioned into sports fields for football, soccer, tennis, baseball and basketball. Also a rather small playground for smaller children. Good for kids to use some energy or to engage in a more regulated...
