East Snyder Park — Attraction in Penn Township

It was a great place to host a cross country invitational. Unfortunately I did not see a sign listing everything they had at the park. For that reason I I took away a star. I also needed a bathroom. And didn't find one and an elderly couple was searching for one and couldn't find one either and seemed distressed. For that reason I took away a second star. However, as a Mother of a child with severe disabilities I saw something truly touching. A Mother or therapist brought a small signifigantly disabled child, put braces on his legs, put an electric cart together and placed him in the cart. The child's eyes lit up and he was so excited to take off and go to the park! He reviewed his rules for driving the cart and with a huge grin took off. His driver was right behind him with a special kind of Walker that would help him to get around in the playground.

To see the pure joy and opportunity for independence the playground brought to a signifigantly disabled child was worth n extra ...

East Snyder Park is appealing from the views of the valley mountains, to the beautiful homes near by. Families being your children to a park where there's many ages appropriate fun and adventure. Clean fountains and clean restrooms. Heated and air conditioned for comfort. The pavilion for parties and a baseball field near by.

Tired parents needing a peaceful place to rest and know their children are safe. There is security installed at all angles of the park and restrooms exterior. Giving you the comfort to know there's no tolerance for danger, and safety is first.

Enjoy fields of grass, slides, climbing obstacles, fun for you and your child. Many imagination play set ups for many possible pretend play times.

The kids loved this park we are 40min away and saw this online so decided to bring my grandkids. We talked to the people who put them memorial stones In. Very nice people they gave my grandkids painted stones she said usually hid them but were to busy today getting ready for the events coming up Wednesday night. We came across some very rude kids and the guy went over to tell them they cant act like this at the park. I plan on bringing my grandkids again some time.
