The Stone Barn — Attraction in Penn Township

My wife and I were renting a cabin in the area and we wanted to kayak somewhere in the area and we saw Stone Barn Outfitters on line and we called and talked to Shane the owner to see if we can launch our kayaks at his site or if he could direct us to somewhere where we can launch. He was very polite and answered all my questions. He was very professional and courteous. He hooked us on the Penns Creek for a five mile, half a day trip that was beautiful. Water was crystal clear. We saw numerous big fish, an Bald Eagle, numerous Blue Heron's. I would highly recommend Stone Barn Outfitters if you want a great experience to kayak. Shane and Kim his wife will make sure you have a great experience. They are committed and we plan on returning there next year. SBO ROCKS....

Amazing location. I just wasn't a fan of the bathroom situation. I've been to barn weddings before with full bathrooms. They have porta potties here. If you are taking kids, make sure you bring plenty of wipes. I bring gloves just in case and it's a good thing I did because I was able to clean the bathroom before my daughter used it and she didn't need to touch anything. I did everything for her. All she needed to do was pee. Other than the bathrooms, amazing place and very pretty for a wedding. I'm sure they had a separate and nicer area for the bride but the guest bathrooms...

Working with Shane & Kim is so easy when they host a wedding at this venue. I am a DJ, they help provide clarity for set up spaces, power, and time expectations.
