I've been here a couple times since they opened last month and I cannot stress enough how good it is. This is by far the best winery I've ever been to. While they don't have a long list of wines like other wineries I've been to, every single one they do have is stellar. I've gotten their sweet flight both times and my husband gets the full flight and they are all wines we would drink regularly. The food they serve is also equally as tasty. I am particularly fond of the pretzel with beer cheese and struggle to not order 5 just for myself. The aranchini balls and brie and raspberry tartlets are also incredibly good. The building used to be another winery that we had visited years ago. The new owners really worked hard and transformed the space into such a charming and comfortable place to relax in. The decor is super cute and there are games to play with whoever you bring along with you. And the icing on the cake is the wonderful staff. They are just so sweet. All in all, I just really wish I lived closer than an hour and a half away but any chance I get,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI canāt say enough wonderful things about this fine wine establishment. Iāve been coming here almost weekly since May, and I have never been disappointed. Kat, Evan, Tara, Joe, & the rest of the Violet Vintage gang are some of the best people around, and they continuously make every experience I have a memorable one. Iāve brought in so many friends and family members and they even agree that they are top notch at their craft (I brought my cousin and her boyfriend in once from Gettysburg - they wish they had a Violet Vintage!) They make their own wine & food and they arenāt even comparable to any other winery in Berks County. I am so happy to give my support to Violet Vintage! Please stop in - you will not be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery cool place! Owners are really nice, hard workers! They offer wine by the glass, wine slushies, cocktails, beer, and food. The inside is cute with many seating options. Outside, also, offers many seating options with a beautiful country view. Only thing that bothered me was that I could not find a price list for the bottles of wine and there were no prices listed on the shelf, so I was a bit taken back when the bottle I had chosen rung up at $23.95 plus tax. Typical wineries around my area are usually about $10-$15 a bottle. Overall though, it's a really neat place. I would definitely return! The owners work hard - they deserve...
