I WALKED THE MEADOW UP TO THE FARMHOUSE AND BACK DOWN TO THE BRIDGE & ITALIAN WATER GARDENS.
IT TOOK 3 HRS. TOTAL FROM ARRIVAL TO DEPARTURE. I THOUGHT IT WAS LONGER, AS I WAS JUST WALKING A LEISURELY PACE.
THE LANDSCAPES ARE "MAJESTIC" ALONG WITH THE WHITE WISPY CLOUDS ABOVE. THE VIEWS ARE "BREATHTAKING"!!!
RELAX OUTSIDE ON THE PATIO AREA & THE WALK WILL HAVE BEEN "WELL WORTH IT". YOU WILL SEE WHAT I MEAN!...
Read moreVery nice inside. They have a little gallery and books you can pick up and read either inside out of the cold/heat. As well as sketch books with pens, pencils, crayons for kids to sketch the meadow inside. Longwood encourages kids to have fun with those.
You don't have to walk the trails if they're muddy or you have a stroller. There is a shuttle starting at noon that goes here...
