After reading a lot of mixed reviews, I decided to try the trails myself. And I’m glad I did! I came out for some fun mountain biking. All of the trails were fairly easy. The difficulty rating is for cross country skiing, and only meant more or steeper hills. The terrain was all very easy mountain biking. Most of the trails were well maintained, but definitely had a few that needed to be groomed. The ere are two downed trees across the blue trail that you have to traverse around. There were plenty of trail markers to find your way around the different loops. I loved that the trails were completely under the cover of trees, keeping cool during hot summer days. If you’re here in the summer (it’s August as I write this), bug spray and glasses will be helpful. As long as I was riding fast, the bugs couldn’t catch me. But as soon as I stopped to read trail signs, I was swarmed by them. I went in the morning around 9 and had the trail to myself. A few cars came with more hikers and bikers by the time...

This was my first time coming here and I rode the entire outer loop, trails are VERY rough compared to mosquito creek, but still do-able. These trails are very rural and you have to drive on a 2 mile or so dirt road to get to the parking. Not many people here either, saw one person after riding the entire outer loop on a sunny Saturday, and he let me know I lost a bike lock because of how many bumps are on the trail! Better hope you don't get a flat tire because you'll be hitting a stick in the dirt every 10 feet. Trail could definitely use some more maintenance, had to get the bike over 2 downed trees and I helped move a smaller tree off the trail. These trails would be amazing if more...

Trails were beautiful, definitely a local hidden gem! I wasn't sure at first my GPS was right as the last 2 miles were down a dirt road/2 track and at one point I saw a sign stating that you were leaving state land but I just kept going as there really wasn't a great place to turn around. Luckily the perseverance paid off! Highly recommend, took about 2 hours to do the entire perimeter loop. There were a few steep places but each time there was an "easy" by pass so there was always an option. Overall was a beautiful way to spend a...

Good variety of loops for hiking and running. We visited twice during a short trip. The first time we all did an easy loop. The second time my wife and three kids did the same loop while I ran the outside of all loops (all right turns or left turns). The longer loops have a good variety of terrain and scenery. We’ll definitely be coming back here! One downside is no outhouse which is very nice when you have small kids.
