One of my favorite spots in Arizona. Beautiful place! Endless possibilities for water activities. Low cost to enter and several parking areas. RV grounds were very nice and inviting to relax. Mostly clean, the park keeps the place very well. Some areas though people really have done badly leaving behind their trash. The restroom I used was clean and they have several around, especially close to the picnic areas. On the weekends go early, gets very crowded and noisy due to people playing different music around. It is a pet friendly place, which I support, however, some owners are mindless and you can end up stepping on their waste.

Took my dog out for her first lake excursion! It was awesome. I would recommend getting here as early as possible to get a good spot. If you have an off road vehicle it makes it easy to park by the shore. The water isn't too deep by the shore, but it does drop in depth the more you go out so i would recommend life jackets.

Very pleasant... when there's not a lot of people there. That means you have to go in winter nowadays for that lol. The burros are cute and come up to vehicles, and go out in the road. Watch out for them!

Judging from the name, you would think this location is an actual elevated land from which you can see a birds-eye view of the lake. In fact, it was quite the opposite. If you want to see the actual birds-eye view, you will want to go to Sunset Ridge Day Use Area, and you can sit at the ramadas to enjoy the view (note- very narrow road and no actual parking lot). Otherwise, for this ridge- you can access it by taking Sunset Ridge Road and making a right as you go up instead of continuing up to the Day Area. Then, the road will take you close to the shores of the lake.

This Sunset Ridge area didn't seem as quiet or scenic as Two Cow Cove- there were some boats making wake and I didn't see any swimmers. I also don't think I saw any buoys to marking a swimming...

Still early where it's not to over crowded, was a bit chilly, took the wave runners out for the first time this year, water was like glass, all the boats weren't out yet. If you plan on going and want a spot on the shoreline, you need to go at the crack of dawn. Otherwise, you will get frustrated trying to find a spot. Claim your area because people will squeeze right...
