Judging from the name, you would think this location is an actual elevated land from which you can see a birds-eye view of the lake. In fact, it was quite the opposite. If you want to see the actual birds-eye view, you will want to go to Sunset Ridge Day Use Area, and you can sit at the ramadas to enjoy the view (note- very narrow road and no actual parking lot). Otherwise, for this ridge- you can access it by taking Sunset Ridge Road and making a right as you go up instead of continuing up to the Day Area. Then, the road will take you close to the shores of the lake.
This Sunset Ridge area didn't seem as quiet or scenic as Two Cow Cove- there were some boats making wake and I didn't see any swimmers. I also don't think I saw any buoys to marking a swimming...

RV grounds were very nice and inviting to relax. Mostly clean, the park keeps the place very well. Some areas though people really have done badly leaving behind their trash. The restroom I used was clean and they have several around, especially close to the picnic areas. On the weekends go early, gets very crowded and noisy due to people playing different music around.
