The actual jump went fine but not dying was the only positive for the whole experinece... the handcam video they borderline forced on me (I'm a career salesperson and I found them to be extremely high pressure about the video and, in my eyes, worse yet, poor at best sales people) was of poor quality and just generally garbage. Also I went with a group, and despite being told we could jump together when it came time to jump we were split into two groups. We again asked to be placed together and we were told it would be an unknown number of hours longer to do so although they could not give a reason as to why after we had already been kept 4 hours past our reservation time, with only vague and entirely unapologetic reasons for the delay and absolutely zero concern for their customers, again for no apparent reason other than they already had our money and just didnt care. The reason for being split into two groups best I could surmise on my own (since I wasn't given a reason) was they just wanted to jump with their friends and really didnt care once they had our money. It seems they rely on the simple fact that skydiving is a huge rush and they're pretty confident that you'll be so pumped from the jump you wont care about the deplorable service they provide. Additionally, the person landing the plane was learning how to land a plane and while I get that you're not supposed to be in the plane at that point, some people back out and I dont quite get how this is legal, especially since we did watch the person miss the runway on more than one occasion. Skydiving is great, and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone physically healthy enough to do so, but I would strongly recommend that you go anywhere but here to do so. Good luck and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAll the while I had an OK to great skydiving experience, I am EXTREMELY upset with Skydive Pepperell, particularly Fran the owner along with Groupon. I did have to wait around 4 hours to jump but that was no big deal. Hereās the story: On June 29, 2020, I opened the Groupon App on my iPhone and saw a great skydive photo with an offer of $119 from Skydive Pepperell (see screen captures). I paid the offer and thought that was it. On July 7, 2020, I went to Skydive Pepperell and was asked for an additional $75 to skydive when I was checking in. Confused, I asked why and stated that I already payed the $129. Skydive Pepperell stated there was some FINE PRINT on the Groupon offer. There was no fine print on the iPhone page (see screen captures). After the jump, Fran and Groupon failed to reimburse the charge. I am still disputing it with my credit card company. When I spoke to Fran about the situation, she was EXTREMELY rude, made up information about me that was completely false and hung up the phone on me. Before she hung up on me, I asked Fran how she would feel if Groupon was āofferingā a $10,000 car āon saleā and when she drove one hour to the car dealer, they SPRUNG a HIDDEN AND SURPRISE FEE UPON HER at an ADDITIONAL CHARGE of $6,000 (approximately 60% INCREASE). She never replied for obvious reasons. Thatās exactly what happened to me and many others who go there with the āso-calledā Groupon ādeal.ā I find both parties Skydive Pepperell and Groupon taking part of DECEPTIVE, DECEITFUL, FRAUDULENT, HIDDEN, NON-TRANSPARENT, UNETHICAL, and completely INEXCUSABLE practices in todayās business practices and dealings. I WILL NEVER GO BACK as long as Fran is the owner unless this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOk this place is hands down the best vibe! They are very professional and they cover all the parameters to keep you safe and so that you know what to expect. Today was the first time I jumped and thankfully my family came to support me. After watching a video tutorial the anticipation just kept building. I brought the 360 package and I wasnāt at all disappointed because it came with about 60 pictures and a video of myself jumping with my tandem instructor Rafael Alira who by the way was so chill and my camera man Dwayne got the most incredible shots of my entire experience. I probably went to the bathroom at least 50x and Rafael was so gracious to buckle and unbuckle my harness each time. The experience was undoubtedly the most incredible thing I have ever done! I have to also shout out the golf cart boss lady, I didnāt get her name but she helped my 4yr old son out keeping him busy to help pass the time which for me was the most thoughtful act anyone had done there today. When I thanked her for her hospitality she said something to me that resonated more than the experience itself āWe need more love in this world today,ā and I absolutely agree. From checking in to kissing the ground when I returned took about 4hrs and well worth the time because there was a bride and groom jumping with all their braided maid and groomsmen! I even met a few new friends! Even though I was the only one to jump from my party we all left with a memory that will last our lifetime and a new family tradition that my children will look forward to when they turn 18years old. Thank you Pepperell I canāt wait until...
