Very friendly atmosphere. Not overly crowded. First time there taking on the ORV trails. Always a wave or a smile, people also stopping to ask if we were ok. Few of the trails were pretty serious, the rest of them were just fun. Had a great time and will be back.

The trails were awesome, the camping was great, the lake was warm. We had a wonderful time. The only thing that would possibly be better is if they could make some of the trails one way due to blind spots on the mogle mounds.

Whether your just looking for some 4 wheeler fun, horse back riding or just out for a walk there is plenty to enjoy. Be respectful of the animals and critter friends. Blessings be with you on your journey.

Thick woods, humans are NoT 'alone' here! Also not sure about which rung of the food chain we are, when we are in those woods either..so now...you've been enlightened. If we told you what we saw, you'd think we were goofy in the head, but here it is anyways-- Just after dark, while admiring the evening stars, we noticed (*Large, 'floating', Green & very brightly Glowing oval, unhuman eyes watching us~(they glowed withouT anY light!),,, unexplainable by any logical method. Not big cats, wild nor tamed...8 feet above ground those eyes 'hovered' towards us in 3 sets of 2...silently as well. WE LEFT QUICKLY, AND LEFT EVERYTHING (2years ago)& Haven't been back there! Lolol. If you go-- STAY SAFE, don't stay after dark, bring them snacks so you don't become one!?! and don't get stranded out there! GOOD...

The road has not been graded in years! The trails are not being taken care of (fill the holes) not add dangerous hills on the trails, which they have on every trail. The hills collect water and everyone is trying to drive around them which pushes the trail out. The garbage is the worst I have ever seen in the 20 Plus years I've been coming here. I have family members that have came here for over 50 plus years. Please take your garbage home with you instead of leaving it for other people to pick up beer bottles, cans, pop cans and water bottles Also dispose of your bodily fluids the way you're supposed to!!! Not put or leave your toilet by the lake, Deer and Cut has at least 5 toilets that are not taken care of the way they should be. Pack it in and pack it OUT before they shut the place down...

Really well maintained state trails for ATV and other off-road vehicles. Large amount of trails to drive down with all sorts of sites to see. A main road accessible by regular vehicles runs through the middle so it is easy to find your way back to the highway. A lot of camping sites are available for those that want to spend the weekend, though cell service is spotty so do not count on that. There are a few public restrooms available around the trails, maintained about as well as you can expect for basically...
